For air travelers, the nearest major airport is St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL), located approximately 105 miles to the northeast, and Springfield-Branson National Airport (SGF), approximately 116 miles to the southwest. Travelers should undoubtedly rent a car at either of the airports since there is no convenient direct public service from the airports to Rolla. Shuttle services, such as USA Express, do operate but require advance bookings and are quite expensive.
